Adjustable dumbbells are like a magic trick for your home gym. Best OVERALL Pick: PowerBlock Elite EXP Adjustable Dumbbells (5-50 lb.)

These adjustable dumbbells are my top pick overall but NOT my personal favorite. They might not be the quickest to adjust (I’ll talk about those later), but they offer a great deal in terms of price, strength, and the ability to add more weight. For $299, these dumbbells start at 5-50 pounds and you can upgrade them to reach up to 120 pounds! They’re also the heaviest adjustable dumbbells I’ve seen, except for the ones you load with plates. They’re pretty tough and can handle being dropped a bit. The only small issues I found are that they’re a bit big and the rubber grip isn’t my favorite—I prefer a knurled grip.

Also, the shape of the weights means you can’t use standard attachments like a kettlebell attachment with them.

Cheapest OVERALL Pick: AboveGenius Olympic Dumbbell Handles

This set includes two Olympic dumbbell bars and spring collars, compatible with 2-inch Olympic weight plates.

This set was probably my first pair of adjustable dumbbells. They come with just the handles and collars. What makes them so cool is that you can put 2-inch plates on the handles. They’re not quick to change weights, and since they use plates, they don’t save as much space as the other dumbbells on this list. Something else to remember is that you need four weights for these two dumbbells. If you’re looking to save money, you can often find cheap plates on places like Facebook Marketplace if you’re willing to wait a bit

It’s a solid and durable choice for $59.99.

Fastest OVERALL Adjustable Dumbbells: SMRTFT NUOBELL Adjustable Dumbbells

NUOBELL’s dumbbells adjust from 5 to 80 pounds and are designed for smooth, consistent lifts. They’re a bit pricier at $745.00 but offer a range that replaces up to 16 sets of traditional dumbbells. You could also opt for the 5-50lb set if that is all you need. These dumbbells are not nearly as robust as the PowerBlocks but they aren’t going to break unless you throw them onto the hard ground like a madman.

The thing about these dumbbells:

Lately, there’s been a flood of different Nuobell Adjustable Dumbbells hitting the market, making it tricky to pinpoint the absolute best one. I’ve chosen a specific type as my personal favorite, and I’ll share more about it at the end of this article. There’s talk that the ‘first’ Nuobell dumbbell might be these, but I’m not entirely convinced yet.

My Favorite Adjustable Dumbbell

My personal Adjustable dumbbell has to be…. DRUM ROLL:

Nuobell Adjustable Dumbbell by ROBURFLEX

Yes. These are one of the Nuobell adjustable Dumbbells variations. The reason these are my favorite is because I personally have them. Why did I choose these compared to the one listed above?

They were a bit cheaper. The ones listed above have a bit more ratings, but these are climbing up the boards.

Why do I like these?

  • Fastest adjustable dumbbells (as well)
  • Very easy to use
  • AWESOME handle knurling
  • enough weight for me (up to 80lbs)
  • Look like normal dumbbells, which are more relatable to viewers who view my educational videos

However, they still suffer from the same cons as the Nuobell I listed earlier.

Each of these adjustable dumbbells has unique features to suit different workout styles and spaces. Whether you’re a beginner or a fitness enthusiast, there’s an adjustable dumbbell out there for you. Happy lifting!

Ill see ya next time!
