The TrenTwins are interesting to say the least. They are unorthodox, defying the norms of the modern day fitness influencer. Yes, they are influencing more than 1 million people on YouTube alone, that is a lot of people.

I say this out of concern that stems from the effects they have on people. Being different is good. I like different.

After diving into their content, I have a few things to say:

These two are actually twins, Micheal and Cristian. They are currently 23 years old. Christian, the 1 inch taller brother, is a bit more reserved than Micheal. Micheal has always been more outspoken with less thought behind his words, which makes their content fun with their unique dynamic. They have been on steroids since at least 21 years old, I can’t find the exact date as of current, this is just an estimation.

I am a twin myself, and I can definitely relate to this kind of brotherly love that they have for each other.

They started their YouTube account over a year ago and have made tremendous gains in both the gym and on social media. Their gains in the gym in a single year is insane.  At the beginning their content was much more humble, and people digged it. Now, their content is seen as erratic, brain dead, and unhinged to an extent. However, there is a bright light to be shown.

Throughout their content, they have continuously expressed a lot of support for each other, although they do have their normal twin arguments. They have always been polite and respectful to other people at the gym, for the most part. But… in their most recent video, as of writing this, Micheal started to go off and become angry during their second gym session which took place at their home gym. Christian kept level headed, and Mike ended up throwing a boxing glove at Christian because his Roid rage overcame him. The glove bounced off Christians hand and hit the cameraman in his groin.

Mike was not apologetic as I would have thought he would have been by looking back at their older content. Christian did show concern to the cameraman, which was a small relief.

As I mentioned, there has been a lot of change in a single year. It seems that they have upped their dosages of steroids throughout the year. Mike’s voice has gotten significantly deeper and he has become more and more unhinged and at a faster rate compared to Christian. Christian, in the same video I just spoke about, said to Mike during his bicep curls that he has grown a ton in a short period, seemingly surprised. This makes me think that Mike is taking a higher dosage, more than he should be behind the scenes, I could be wrong.

One of the biggest issues I have with the TrenTwins is the fact that they say “do not do drugs” in a few of their videos, but then turn around and say the only way to get big biceps is to do steroids. They even progress to say that Natty people are skinny, which is true compared to them. However, degrading the natty life and glamorizing the use of steroids will only entice young people to jump on steroids way too early.

It almost seems hypocritical.

Overall, in my opinion, the twins should slow down before they hit a brick wall. I feel like fame is getting to their heads, more so Mike than Christian, and they aren’t fully thinking things out as they need to produce the next video. They are role models for a lot of young people and many who are still in high school. The last thing these kids need to do is hop onto gear before they have even tried to natty life #trenchallenge.

There are also a lot more positives about the twins, which you can see here.
